At Custom Saddlery, craftsmanship, quality, and precise fit are at the heart of everything we do. Through our international network of experienced, independent fitters, we guide riders in selecting a saddle that fits the horse correctly while providing stability, balance, and support for the rider.
A fitter from your region will schedule an on-site fitting consultation and arrive with several demo saddles, allowing you to see, feel, and ride in different models on your horse. For clients outside our normal servicing areas, remote fittings may be available.
Together with your fitter, you will evaluate how each saddle fits your horse’s conformation and supports your riding position, helping you confidently choose the best option for both horse and rider. A demo saddle may be available for purchase, or you may place an order for a new, custom-made saddle.
Once the appropriate model is selected, your fitter will guide you through the next steps. For new saddles, you may customize options such as leather type, knee rolls, flap length, and additional details. Each Custom saddle is meticulously handcrafted to provide long-lasting comfort, stability, and freedom of movement.
All Custom saddles are adjustable. The tree can be widened or narrowed, and the panels can be reflocked, allowing the saddle to adapt to changes in your horse over time and ensuring the fit can be maintained for years with proper care.
